Bentwood side chairs

Czechoslovakia, circa 1920.
Made of beech, laminated splat carved with stylized acanthus motif,
turned front legs with tassel decoration one piece stretcher.
Remnant of a factory label “J & J Kohn, New York, Toronto, Chicago,
Stamped “Made in Czechoslovakia”.
The chairs are recovered in a green floral fabric.
These chairs were a part of original furnishing for ballroom at
the Château Laurier Hotel in Ottawa, Canada,
as shown in a historic photo from 1920s.

Width 18″- inches. (45.72 cm)
Depth 20″- inches. (50.8 cm)
Seat height 19″- inches. (48.26 cm).
