This matched pair of antique figural Bald Eagles are unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States in approximately 1900 in an Edwardian style. The eagles are cast in a very realistic and detailed manner in a spelter or base metal, and patinated with a brass finish. The eagles stand on round pedestals. We believe these are most likely pocket watch stands given the hooks at the top, but could function as bookends or dinner bell stands. The bases are covered in a red felt.
