Lovely Double Sized circa 1900 Bleached Walnut English Bedstead Frame Part Suite

A lovely original hand made in England burr Walnut bed frame. The timber grain and colour is sublime, it looks rich and warm in any setting. There was originally some kind of paint finish which has worn off over the years giving the bed a bit of a French Shabby Chic look

This bed is part of a suite, I have the rest of the set listed under my other items which includes a pair of his and hers wardrobes, a dressing table and stool, side chair, pair of bedside tables and chest of drawers, this sale is for the bed alone

The woodwork has been cleaned waxed and polished, it will have the original patina and so on throughout.

Please note this sale only includes what’s pictured, there’s no mattress or divan base as the new owners usually want to buy their own new.

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
