Measuring height 24.5cm / 9.6 inches by width 20.2cm / 7.95 inches.
The frame is stamped with an anchor, a lion, and the date letter is ‘d’. The makers mark is HH&S for Henry Hobson & Sons. This means that the silver mirror is sterling silver, assayed in Birmingham, England and is dated 1903.
The mirror is in very good condition, the lovely silver frame has some denting and scratching. The reverse is in unrestored condition, and is very worn, it is slightly loose to the right of the mirror. The hinge works well.
This beautiful and stylish antique silver mirror would look wonderful as a statement piece.
