Beautiful French rustic sofa or bench from the early 20th century. This characterful sofa or bench is a country house piece of furniture in folk art with an unusual straight shape. The sofa has profiled or ribbed ribs on the back. The seat has some minor damage and traces of use. Sound and solid straight frame, from France, circa 1920. The back has a slight center carving in the shape of a cross.
