Unusual, Edwardian, sterling silver, wood-backed picture frame, Birmingham, England, year – hallmarked for 1910, Williams, Ltd. – makers. Decorated with lovely, etched work – garlands and bows surround the upper portion of the frame. Frame measures 6 1/2 inches high (at highest point) x 5 1/2 inches wide (at widest point) x 4 1/2 inches deep (when easel is in open position). Frame will hold a photo that is 4 inches round; window will show a 3 1/2 inch round photo. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In excellent antique condition.
