Teak & Glass Astro Table from G Plan, 1960s

This delightful coffee table was designed and manufactured by British cabinet maker g plan in the mid-twentieth century. G plan furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. G Plan – E. Gomme Ltd was based in High Wycombe, England, a major center of British furniture manufacturing. The company was revered for its range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of furniture sets designed and made to match. The coffee table has a delightful teak base and glass top. The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones, and rich colors throughout. We have carefully cleaned this coffee table and re-coated it with danish oil to preserve its original appearance.
