A very smart photograph frame made from English solid / sterling silver affixed to a solid English Oak backing which incorporates a folding easel stand.
The silver has a hand-planished finish, popular today as it fits in to almost any interior scheme from traditional to ultra-modern. The top incorporates a circular vacant cartouche.
The side is fully hallmarked for London 1904, Edwardian in era; the makers mark is also present for the top-notch London silversmith, William Comyns.
Excellent condition measuring 8 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ x 3/4″ with a glazed aperture measuring 7″ x 5″.
