Early 20th Century Shell Cameo Brooch

Cameos are true pieces of artistic portraiture often depicting old world ethereal beauty and providing nostalgic charm to modern wardrobes. This early 1900’s carved shell cameo depicts a beautiful woman with a goddess aesthetic including an intricate hair style and a draped gown. The simple silver setting is not hallmarked though it appears to be sterling. Outfitted with straight pin, c-ring catch and a ring that allows for use as a pendant.

Very good vintage condition with some patina to the silver setting.

The brooch measures 1.75″ tall x 1.25″ wide x .5″ deep including the straight pin hardware.
