“For Love or Money” brooch with a movable scale depicting cupid against two coins embossed with dollar signs. For the record, love always wins when it comes to the clever design of this pin. It is also embellished with a red high domed cabochon stone and clear rhinestone accents. Made of sterling silver with gold plating. This piece was advertised in Vogue magazine in 1945 and was patented by Castlecliff the same year. Marked Castlecliff and Sterling on the back. Measures about 2.25 inches long and just under 1.75 inches wide.
