A great piece of social history, this is a window, the old sash type, the glass is etched and painted in gold and white with “HOVIS, bread sold here”
The frame is in sound condition but could do with a coat of new paint
A wonderful display piece, there is no doubt it would look best with back lighting or possibly as a replacement glass for an existing window

A smart set of 4 matching reclaimed copperlight windows dating from the early 1900s. Each window comprises of an oak frame with clear textured glass and copperlight glazing centring around a circular pane to the centre. At over 110 years old, these reclaimed windows are in good condition – see below for more details.

Each measures H 62.5 x W 72.5 x D 2.5 cm / H 24.6 x W 28.54 x D 0.98 inches.
Each weighs 8kg approx.

A pair of large, good quality reclaimed geometric glazed windows; a stylish feature for properties both period and modern. Dating from the early 20th century, these windows were restored 10 years ago and never re-fitted. Each window is of a matching design, the clear glass artistically glazed with lead to creating a pleasing geometric, astral pattern.

‘Devonport’ Antique Stained Glass Window

An early 20th century antique English stained glass window detailed with the Devonport Coat of Arms. This stained glass window is one of a series of panels we are selling from towns and cities on the south coast of the British Isles.

The Devonport Coat of Arms – depicting a naval crown and two oak branches above the hull of a ship – has been used by Devonport since 6th November 1876. Previously known as Plymouth Dock, its name changed to Devonport on 1st January 1824. It has a rich naval history and today hosts the largest naval base in Western Europe.

This maritime heritage is reflected in this windows design, one pane hand-painted with an old English sailing ship.

An early 20th century antique English stained glass window detailed with the Shoreham-by-Sea Coat of Arms. This stained glass window is one of a series of panels we are selling from towns and cities on the south coast of the British Isles.

The Shoreham Coat of Arms depicts a single blue rampant lion to the left side of a shield and three golden passant guardant lions to the right. This English coastal town has a long history, the town of Old Shoreham dating back to pre-Roman times. Towards the end of the 11th century, Norman conquerors occupied the town and established New Shoreham.

Situated on the south coast of England, Shoreham has a rich maritime heritage. This is reflected in two individual panes of this stunning window, each hand-painted with an old English sailing ship.

An early 20th century antique English stained glass window detailed with the Portsmouth Coat of Arms. This stained glass window is one of a series of panels we are selling from towns and cities on the south coast of the British Isles.

The Portsmouth Coat of Arms – depicting an eight pointed star above a crescent moon on a vibrant azure blue background – has been used by the city of Portsmouth for more than 700 years. The crest is mentioned in Heraldic Visitations of 1622 and 1686.

Known for its historic dockyard, Portsmouth waterfront is home to the HMS Victory, the historic wooden warship sailed by Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar on the 21st October 1805, and the 1860 HMS Warrior. This maritime heritage is reflected in this windows design with one pane hand-painted with an old English sailing ship.
