This exceptional Edward VIII sterling silver presentation cup or vase centrepiece has a circular shaped fluted form onto a knopped pedestal to a circular spreading foot.
The body of this antique cup is plain and unembellished.
The baluster shaped knop to the pedestal is ornamented with four cast and applied figural ornamentations, conjoining the pedestal to the body.
The domed foot is encompassed with a paralleling plateau to a shaped collet style rim.

This antique Edwardian cup is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The cast decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the cup are all very clear.
