This very unique antique crystal lamp is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in Continental Europe, most likely Austria, in circa 1900 in the period Edwardian style. This lamp is composed of cut glass and crystal with gilt finished cast metal mounts. The lamp’s shade has a gilt frame which has decorative supports on the sides and is strung with clear crystal beads and has a cut crystal disk over the top held in place by a decorative finial. The bottom of the shade’s frame hang clear cut glass crystals which refract the light when the lamp is lit. The body of the lamp is done in a tapered square glass with a ribbed finish and has a stepped base and cast gilt feet. Featured in the center of the lamp is a gilt metal frame that holds four cut crystal bud vases creating a very unique crystal lamp with a built in epergne.
