A very rare wicker Trumeau Mirror, American C. 1900 with exquisite workmanship in the details of the hand woven wicker frame, beautiful oil painting and beveled glass mirror. The incredible workmanship of this rare item includes such details as the frame itself having a carved and gilded wooden rope design through out with wicker rosettes on either side of the painting as well as a beautiful top wicker pediment having a woven crown design and three sections of open lattice work all in a beautiful natural finish.
The spectacular oil on canvas is of a still life floral arrangement spilling over a classical style urn. The soft hues of the flowers contrast amazingly with the strong depth of colors in the background with all this displayed above a beautiful beveled glass mirror. A truly one of a kind piece.
