This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame has a rectangular shaped form with a domed upper portion and plain rectangular internal window.
The surface of this Edwardian silver photo frame is plain and embellished with an applied decorated border paralleling the shaped rim.
This impressive photo frame has a velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in navy velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.
This impressive example of antique silverware is inset with a removable glass panel.
Condition
This antique silver photograph frame is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are very clear; the lion passant has wear but remains legible.
