This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver frame has a plain square form with a square incurved shaped internal window.

The surface of this photograph frame is plain and unembellished.

This plain antique silver frame is fitted with a fine and impressive oakwood back and hinged strut with two swivel catchers; the silver portion securing the oakwood back indicates the high quality of the piece.

The reverse surface of the frame bears the retailer’s mark ‘Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, 112 Regent St. W’.

This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.

This antique square silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim have minor wear in keeping with age and location; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
