Vintage Danish Brutalist Ladder Back Oak Dining Chairs, 1960s. Set of 10.
Set of ten Scandinavian Mid-Century modern dining room chairs in Nordic oak. Very likely designed by Henning Kjærnulf, Denmark (born Henry Kjærulff Rasmussen) as he often incorporated baroque details in many of his designs in the 50s and 60s.
These chairs were originally purchased for a Danish inn in 1960 and was in use until 1989, they have since been in storage.
They feature a rustic cabin or farmhouse-like feel with their solid wellbuilt and patinated oak structure.
The chairs has the original striped wool fabric and upholstery.
Good original condition with patina consistent with age and use, please see photos.
