A pair of superb quality early 20th Century mahogany multi drawer chest’s that were originally made for the British museum, each chest having a combination of eighteen drawers with the original brass plate handles and name plates, lovely figured tops with a reeded edge, double panels to each side and the backs having six panels which means they can be freestanding, raised on a plinth base and having brass grills either side in the plinth for air circulation. Both chest’s are in fantastic condition and are of a very high quality. Circa 1920.
